LEAP Year
To be a “Leader of Everything and Anything is Possible” (LEAP) can seem daunting these days. Fires and smoke, societal conflict in engagement processes, a housing affordability crisis, workforce challenges – particularly in municipal government. The list that makes us feel as if there’s a circle on the wall with a “bang head here” sign goes on. But despair not community catalysts. With some leadership principles, a solution-seeking year in review of some of today’s issue hot spots, and a good dose of levity, we can rise above and beyond in pursuit of exceptionalism.
