Pivoting your in-person events online: Practical strategies during COVID-19 and beyond
How will our canceled and postponed events find new life in a digital format as we navigate smaller group sizes and social distancing? How can we envision digital events in creative ways that go beyond trying to replicate our in-person experiences to potentially disappointing results?
Join Heather Buttrum, Principal of Rain Digital in a conversation with Mark Healy, Executive Director at the Ivey Academy, as they discuss the challenge of pivoting in-person events quickly and effectively to a virtual approach. Topics covered: making the case to sponsors, navigating different technology solutions, and solving for engagement and networking. Heather will also talk about how she worked with EDAC to bring the Annual Conference online, and how each technology decision was informed by going back to first principles and figuring out how to deliver the things that mattered in new and innovative ways.
