Small Cities, Big Opportunities
Rose Klukas joined the City of Campbell River as its economic development officer five years ago, when the City was in the process of bringing its economic development activities in-house. Since then, Rose has leveraged her years of knowledge gained from working in the northern town of Kitimat, B.C., and her ability to collaborate with the local investor community to grow an innovative partnership with the Campbell River Area Angel Group (CRAAG). During this talk, you will hear Rose and CRAAG member Andreas Hagen discuss how the City and CRAAG work together to create innovative programs and partnerships with investors and draw international attention to the Campbell River area through the NexStream Tech Competition.
