About the Speaker
Kathryn has over 20 years of experience working for the City of Maple Ridge as a civic and community event producer, neighbourhood development specialist, civic volunteer services leader and currently as a tourism services leader. She has had the privilege of heading a number of initiatives that promote community development and capacity building; support neighbourhood placemaking and downtown activations; create new destination marketing programs; secure funding and collaborative engagement with citizens, corporate partners and all levels of government; and lead engaging and beneficial projects to successful conclusions. She brings a skilled and creative outlook to tourism services, with insights into strategies for promoting growth and resiliency and enhancing social and economic benefits.
