We Rise – Crisis stirs urgency and passion for change
January, 2020: What’s the worst that could happen? In 2020 who knew that “You’re on Mute” would feel like the name of a family member. Our souls are laid bare. Society re-structures the nature of work at the snap of a finger. We have felt lonely, fueling our passion to reconnect to community. We seek new meaning in life. We attach our quest for meaning and legacy-building to the highest aspiration we have for communities we call home.
The irony of crisis is it stirs urgency and passion for change. Like a breath of fresh air, we are more willing to question why things need to be the way they are. Is there a better way? From housing affordability to red tape, the molasses of issues we have felt forever stuck in has a window of opportunity to yield to embrace of the art of possibilities.
EDOs have never been more vital as they are now. The imagineers. The bridge builders. The connectors. Catalysts in a new era that will seek new ways forward.
